well....is another point of view and I think is very interesting....some times is positive for me feeling stressed, maybe because the oxitocina hormon...I don't know, but feeling nervous or under pression, you can get the best of you if you think that you can...
ReplyDeleteWhen we talk about stress, we make use of wide and, some times, undefinite concepts. Whether stress is good or harmful, in my view, depends more on which is caused by than the stressful situation itself, and -at this point I completely agree with McGonigal- the ability to manage it, could has healthy effects because we are "designed" to deal with this situations. The problems with stress, come in the moment we are no able to "surface" or simply we are not conscious that we have unfinished business... I love the approach she has done over social stress, because I believe we have been "designed" to be social as well, and why not, probably our health has to do with the people's around us...
